Prior to 1968, staff training was not considered an opportunity to increase the businesses return on investment. However, this leads to improved profitability and/or more positive attitudes toward profits orientation, improves the job knowledge and skills at all levels of the organization, improves the morale of the workforce, helps people identify with organizational goals and helps create a better corporate image. Each organization needs to indicate its strategy with respect to advancement of its corporate arrangement.
